The Law Society are strongly encouraging members (both individually, and as firms and local law societies) to respond to the SRA consultation on the Solicitors Indemnity Fund / PSYROC by 15 February 2022.
By the end of January they plan to share with local law societies an overview of their response to the consultation. They’d be very grateful if you could please complete the survey by 17 January 2022.

Call to action from the Law Society
As you know, the position is that protection should be maintained. With this in mind, The Law Society are calling on you to please continue to let them know of examples of potential consumer detriment, such as claims that have been made six years after they arose, to inform their response.
